I began my career as a comic creator in January 2016 and became a member of the network Dotterbolaget, one month later.
Dotterbolaget is a feminist women’s and transgender comic creator network. Whose purpose is to counteract the patriarchal structures that still today permeates the comic book industry, and to support women and transgender activities within it. Dotterbolaget operates both as a social arena and as a professional network where members instead of competing over assignments, collaborate and support each other. DB also publish zines, have exhibitions and organizes workshops on cartooning. You can currently find Dotterbolaget in the cities of Malmö, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Gästrikland and Umeå.
